Promotion Ideas for Fall and Winter at Your Brewery

Oktoberfest in Minnesota may be over, but the cozy vibes of fall are still to come. As the weather turns, you’ll need to adjust your strategies for promotions and events. You’re the expert of turning drinks from refreshing and fruity to warm and rich, and we’ll help you become the experts of taking things inside but still having a fun time.

Cozy drinks

As we just mentioned, you’re the expert at getting the cozy drinks out for the fall fanatics and winter lovers. Once you have the flavors ready, it’s time to make it fun and get your customers involved. Different types of tasting events can bring a lot to your brewery.

Blind tastings can help you find the right direction of tastes your customers enjoy, but they also can be gamified to your advantage. Have them guess the ingredients or flavors incorporated into the drink. If they get a specific amount correct, get a free merch item or small drink. You can also have a competition of the drinks. With different styles of drinks, get people to vote on which style will win. Without knowing which drink is which, have your customers guess which category it is in. These are great ways to be inviting to new people and get your regular customers excited for something new.

Indoor activities and events

Taking things inside is the obvious necessity during the colder months, but there are more ideas for what you can do than you think. Let’s start with the events of the season. The winter solstice is a popular time for small and fun events during the shortest day of the year. Many holidays are coming up as well, creating a perfect opportunity to host a party.

You don’t have to wait for a special day to do something for your customers, though. Between giving back to your community to hosting fun events, there is plenty to try to attract new customers. Hosting food drives, bingo, comedy nights, karaoke, or live music are great ways to have fun and build community.

Don’t forget your social media!

One last reminder for you is to keep up with your social media. Being indoors more often means that there are more opportunities to find your people online. Posting about new drinks, specials, and your events keep your customers up to date on all the happenings and share it with others.

Keep up with the trends and make sure to stock your merch wall. Check out our merch to see what you can bring to your customers in the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
